Sesame Pikunas, L.Ac., received her Diplomate of Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and her Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California. She is licensed to practice acupuncture in the state of New York.

In addition to her training in acupuncture and herbal therapies, Sesame is a yoga instructor, helping her to better understand the body's needs on all levels: physical, emotional and spiritual.

Sesame treats a wide spectrum of symptoms and diagnoses and specializes in women's health issues including hormonal imbalances such as PMS, PMDD and menopause, pain management for chronic pain, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, acute sciatica and injuries, anxiety, depression, skin disorders, insomnia and other sleep issues and much more.
