Danielle Roberts, DO, MS
Danielle Roberts, DO, MS, completed her medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine while obtaining her Masters in Clinical Nutrition, with her residency in Family Medicine. She is also an ACE certified personal trainer and AFFA certified Aerobics Instructor.
Dr. Roberts is an active member in the American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM), HuMED (Humanistic Medicine) and the American Osteopathic Association and has had the privilege of training with a wide variety of nationally known physicians in the integrative medicine field, where she has acquired skills in cutting edge techniques.
A versatile and passionate physician, she is trained in both Eastern and Western perspectives in health care and incorporates osteopathic manipulative therapy, trigger point injections, reiki, metaphysical healing, and detox medicine including chelation and IV therapies.
Dr. Roberts has lectured on multiple topics in the field of health and wellness including nuero-energic psychology, integrity, self-actualization, nutritional psychology, nutritional fundamentals, and exercise physiology. She continues to create protocols and guidance for optimal living.
In her clinical practice, Dr. Roberts assesses and integrates all aspects of the individual being and partners with her patients to encourage them to take responsibility for their health and their life as she provides the safety, confidence and guidance they need on their path toward healing and embracing optimal living.
Having always been intrigued by the mind-body connection, Dr. Roberts began her undergraduate studies at Binghamton University and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Psychobiology. She has also continued to practice and apply the fundamentals of exercise physiology and nutritional therapy successfully for the past 10 years since her collegiate training at Binghamton.
Dr. Roberts has served as a Co-Creator, Fitness Choreographer, and nutritional expert for Fit in 4’s 1 year volunteer research venture to follow the success of 20+ individuals in reaching and maintaining weight, body fat and fitness goals including cardiovascular endurance, strength, and flexibility. She researched and published The Sonographic Appearance of Synovial Osteochondromatosis of the Knee in conjunction with Dr. Theodore Miller.
As a holistic family practitioner, Dr. Roberts specializes in treating a variety of conditions such as weight loss including those who are considering bariatric surgery; musculo-skeletal medicine including arthritis and those in chronic pain; auto-immune diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus and Diabetes Type 1; supporting women who are concerned about fertility or who are pregnant, as well as babies and children; thyroid conditions, hormonal balancing and adrenal health including Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and chronic pain; gastro-intestinal disorders such as Crohn’s Disease, food allergies and Celiac Disease. Dr. Roberts works with patients who have cancer, taking a mind-body-spirit approach that is patient-lead, working along-side the patient’s oncologist.
